Let me get this straight. You're all coming at me like wolves, just for saying that according to scripture from Jesus, we should learn Jesus' commands and obey them?

I point to what Jesus said, and you point to what humans said? Who is our God? Paul, Priscilla, ...? Or Jesus the Christ? Which teaching are you following first and foremost?

1 John‬ ‭2:4‬
“The one who says, “I have come to know Him,” and yet doesn’t keep His commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.”
John 14:15
“If you love me, keep my commands.

Matthew 18:20
Jesus said: "For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them."

Which one of these you want to override with what Paul said?

All of them.  None are "more inspired" than the others.

"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable..."

The words of Jesus recorded in Scripture are no more inspired than the words of Paul, or Peter, or James, or John, or the gospel writers, or whoever wrote the book of Hebrews.

All of the words are equal.

I ask again.  What elders surround you to vet your teaching and your instruction to others?  There are no solo Christians in the faith that are worth listening to.

And no one is "coming at you like wolves."  You are making certain statements that you claim to be authoritative and demand that we bow to your wisdom, yet your statements, in most of our opinions, do not all line up with the totality of the revealed Word.  We are holding you accountable.  We are, shall we say, being Berean.

Yes. But when there is a discrepancy in interpretation, we look at what God said. Jesus' words in these Bible references are extremely clear. They do not need elaboration from others. Jesus is God! and Paul is His apostle. And not the other way around!

I already answered your "elders" question. You dodge the main point of keeping Jesus' commands, which are very clear, with your worthless question about elders?

JESUS DID NOT SAY WE MUST HAVE ELDERS APPROVING!!!!!

HE SAID THIS:
Matthew 18:20
"For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them."

AND THIS:
John 14:12-14
Jesus: Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

"whoever" can be anyone on earth. No elders required!!!!

God said all of it.

The words of Jesus as recorded are no more authoritative than the words of Paul or Peter or John or anything else contained in Scripture.

There are no discrepancies or contradictions.

You have a very strange understanding of inspiration of Scripture and a very strange and inconsistent hermeneutic.
You also admit that you violate God's Word by refusing to gather together with the church in your area to be edified and to edify.

Absence is never proof of denial.

HE SAID THIS:
Matthew 18:20
"For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them."

Jesus also said - And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

What do you think Jesus meant with "church" ?

Certainly not 2 people.

And I have been a Christian all my life, but a true Christian since 1994.
True Christian means learn Jesus Christ's commands and obey them. Anything else, is Antichristian.

LOL - what's the goal here?

They're summed up in his encouragement to worship his God and Father in spirit and truth.

This thread died in May. If you manage to revive it, great. If not, necroposting isn't great.

I just answered the OP question.

Do you have anything to counterclaim?

Counter what claim? We're discussing the appropriateness of raising threads from the dead.
