That's not good.
If you love me, obey my commandments - Jesus
Do what thou will shall be the whole of the law - Aleister Crowley

If we're going to pick and choose which parts of the Bible we follow, we should be honest enough to admit we are following Crowley and not Christ.

Fiddling with my lathe I turned out another three spinning tops, although one of them doesn't spin as well as I hoped.

My daughter and one granddaughter came for supper tonight. I gave them my first attempt at a bowl, along with a few snowmen and spinning tops.

Interesting. I have full confidence that my late brother Hal is safe with the LORD!

And I also belatedly remember Hal telling me that a person would be crazy for not accepting salvation in Christ.

The LORD was gracious in granting me that condfidence.

Gracious as always

Sitting in a hospital with my mom who's dementia has gotten to the point she can no longer live independently. Waiting for a bed to open or find a private one somewhere. Need to be with her 24hrs as she might be a flight risk.

That's not good, will keep you in prayer. I hope you can find something suitable before too long.

Jury duty yet again, under threat of arrest warrant.  And they are not kidding!

It is a civic duty, however, so here we go.

Again? Do they really like you for jury duty?

Is there any limit to how often you have to do that?

In England when I did jury duty there was a get-out clause if you had served within the previous (I think) three years. You could serve again if you wanted to, but you didn't have to.

It's different in different states, it Texas, for instance, you are exempt from serving for 2 years after you have served once.  In Florida after you have served on jury duty you are exempt from serving again for year.
May God bless you as you seek to do God's will
