I had something unusual happen yesterday.  I went into Walgreens to pick up a prescription and before I even walked up to the counter the lady at the counter greeted me by name and already had my prescription.  I've been going in there too much. 😀

Recently turned 72 and my beautiful galfriend of similar age has waist-long white hair.

Our Drama Ministry had its first read-through of its new Easter production.  It's called The Angels Watched. It goes through the events of Holy Week through the eyes of the Angels.  I'm playing Michael the Archangel.  It promises to be a very moving production.  Tonight was just the first read through and there were times that I was so moved that I occasionally had trouble getting the lines out.

We've been the thankful victim of divine intervention!

We've been installing a new door between our entryway and (attached) garage so that we don't have to go outside whenever we want to access the garage. Well, as "luck" would have it, while the frame was being cut out of the wall we discovered signs of a water leak. £90 later it's fixed, but it would have been so much worse had we not found it at all.

"Luck", huh.

Something similar recently for us. Noticed a bit of water around the tub and got it pulled out. Cost a bit more, but better than a lot more water in the area. We were planning a reno there anyway. Just moved up the timeline.

We had a 3rd rehearsal for our new drama ministry production.  Please keep us in your prayers.  The show can be so emotionally draining that our youngest "Angel" ended up in tears.  I don't blame her.  There are times I am almost moved.to.tears myself.  In this production the events of Holy Week are told through the eyes of the Angels.

Got my first smart phone, carrying these heavy things with you wherever you go is not my cup of tea. But since my wife and I lost each other on a heavy crowed train station during a short holiday my wife insisted I shall have one. And so, yes dear.

Just survived a round of layoffs.

Just get used to a sunny springtime and Bam!...wake up to a zero-viz white out. Ice, snow wind.

They are still skiing on fresh powder at the resorts - 11,000 ft  plus. Summer in the valley - 5,000 ft.

One never knows in April (or even May).

Tonight is the first of 2 dress rehearsals for our production And The Angels Kept Watch.  Praying that the Lord gives me strength.  The rehearsal we had Sunday left me completely exhausted.  I have been told that I am going to be on something so I will be up in the air.  Hopefully, it won't be too hard to climb up into it and get myself set up.  I have to get a music stand, script, and chair/stool up there.
