No, Jesus didn’t say everything believers needed.

It is so sad that you don't think Jesus taught us everything we needed for salvation.

Good day, friend.

Salvation is not a business deal.  It’s a relationship with the most loving  person ever who just happens to also be God.  It isn’t about keeping rules.  It’s about doing right out of love. Not out of fear or duty or obligation

We would be hopeless without the rest of the New Testament and for all the information recording in the Gospels other than the words of Jesus that are quoted.

Salvation is not a business deal.

Salvation is obtaining eternal life in God's kingdom.

You were not there to personally hear His words, were you?

His faithful ones kept a record of what He taught.

All His word is in the books of Mathew, Mark, Luke, John, and the Revelation.

That simply is not true.  He said many things that were not recorded.

Precisely my point, which you chose to ignore. Conversing with you is a trying experience, so I think I'm done.

Standing before the Judgment Throne we will retain only two things from this life: what God gave us, and what we accomplished with it.

Wrong.

John 20:30-31

30 Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book.
31 But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

The majority of your posts are devoid of Scripture. In this forum that's a problem that you need to fix.

Life is not a problem to be solved, but a reality to be experienced.

What about Paul’s teaching?  You obey that too?

If it harmonizes with Jesus' teaching, I will follow.

You say "if", then please offer examples from the epistles you reject as Scripture.

Not all of Paul's teachings harmonize with Jesus' word.

Of course they do.

Please educate us if you think otherwise.  What of Paul's teaching do you consider to be anti-Christ?

If, and this is a big if, Paul explicitly taught that by following the commandments it would not be possible to obtain eternal life, then this would be at odds with Jesus' teachings.

Jesus never taught that keeping the commandments granted eternal life.  Even in the story of the rich young ruler he gave the young man enough rope to prove to himself that he did not keep the commandments.

Jesus entire point was that one cannot keep the commandments

Except that the extra piece of commentary you added is not in the original.

If what you say is true, Jesus lied when he replied to the rich young ruler.

You have to read in the context of the totality of Jesus’ ministry.

It’s literature not a scientific technical journal for pity sake.  Jesus rep early said his kingdom is not if this works which means that the laws of this world did not apply

He said that over and over

That's right, Jesus' ministry, not anyone else's.

If what you say is true, Jesus lied when he replied to the rich young ruler.

Context, context... the whole story

The Rich Young Man
16 And behold, a man came up to him, saying, “Teacher, what good deed must I do to have eternal life?” 17 And he said to him, “Why do you ask me about what is good? There is only one who is good. If you would enter life, keep the commandments.” 18 He said to him, “Which ones?” And Jesus said, “You shall not murder, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness, 19 Honor your father and mother, and, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 20 The young man said to him, “All these I have kept. What do I still lack?” 21 Jesus said to him, “If you would be perfect, go, sell what you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.” 22 When the young man heard this he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.  23 And Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly, I say to you, only with difficulty will a rich person enter the kingdom of heaven. 24  Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.

Jesus knew the weak spot of the young rich man and put this finger on it.
