The humor of a few of these signs (like the "beat the moose" one) involves translation issues. A popular American product (don't remember what it was) was marketed in China many years ago, but brought in almost nothing in sales, leaving the company perplexed. After some research, they discovered the problem: the product's name, translated into Chinese was "rectum glue."
