Rocky faith?
« on: May 19, 2021, 01:03:50 PM »
I have a property with a prize rhodie--beautiful large red flowers, and hardy as can be. Never had one like it here in the PNW--usually pretty bland pink flowers. Well, a friend/acquaintance cut the rhodie down, doing some what he thought was "regular maintenance." I've grieved the loss of my prize rhodie for a few years now. Then suddenly, when I was visiting the site of its "death," I noticed a very small rhodie plant reemerge--this is *years later!* Yes, that beautiful rhodie is on its way back! How is this even possible?

I don't know, but I think it's a message from God that we should never give up, and never lose faith. God is the God of the miraculous, a God who is concerned about both large and small things. And He has been so kind and generous with His time to spend a moment in my life, showing me He cares about the smallest of things, simply because it matters to me!

Well, He actually put this love in me for these small things. So of course He cares! ;) I wish us all well on this new forum! :)

That's Gods renewal. I share your wishes. If you know of any displaced members from BF, please tell them about us and what we're hoping to do here.

1 John 3:14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

 ???

With all due respect. A little ambiguous. Not sure how the format and helping the board grow correlate.

I don't invite others to a place where I can't myself communicate with them. It's a little difficult using the reply and getting in the quotes I want. But I should get used to it. In these days of technology, everything takes getting used to.

But again, if it's too difficult for me to use, I'm not likely to recommend it to those who might have the same problems. Don't mean to be mean here. Someone else designed it, I'm sure.

I love the way our Lord still gives us parables in the things we see around us. So thankful that you see His Heavenly message of unlimited possibilities with Him in this earthly story of a beautiful flower :)

2 great things I learned in life.
1) Nothing happens by accident.
2) God speaks to us through what we experience.

We aren't always given to hear or to understand. But we are always given to love God and others. :)
