Question for fenris

Howdy resident Hebrew dude,

I use Biblehub.com a lot, and included in their 3 dozen or so Bible translations, is the JPS Tanakh, which is an English translation of the Masoretic Text. As someone that reads and understands the original Hebrew, I'd appreciate your assessment of it. If you're not already familiar with it, maybe you can test drive a few key passages and give your opinion with regard it's accuracy. (The translations are found under the "Parallel" tab).

I don't love the JPS. It seems to me that it's just a modernized version of the KJV with the worst translation errors repaired.

Well, that answers my question.  Biblehub has a lot of tools for ascertaining the original Hebrew and Greek in a given passage, but I was hoping for an accurate, readable translation. Oh well.
