The Comedian!

An interesting character, that one. From Watchmen, of course.

Which one, the other BF? I mean it's possible, but they banned me ages before it went down. Why, were you around when it died?

Hey, there's a word I haven't come across before. It seems fitting that you would be the one to introduce it. :)

OKAY my friend. This is not a JW board. It's mainline Christian. If you're here to propagate the cultist Jehovah's Witness dogma, that needs to stop right now.
1 John 3:14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

Athan 2:7- The "Lord" God breathed into Adam the Immortal Soul!

Where is the word 'immortal' used?

It isn't. Immortality comes from eating of the Tree of Life.

Having an eternal existence is an attribute of Man, which we all have. "Questions" is not qualified to make dogmatic statements that are not truly based on the text. Nor is any of us.

Thanks for asking the question. I hope I'm right in the way I view "immortality?"

I'd take 'eating of the tree of life' as indicating being in proper relationship with God, but however, we view that, we're agreed on immortality I think. I certainly don't view Adam and Eve as having been created immortal (then mortal as a consequence of the fall). Immortality was and is the plan, but God had good reasons for not granting eternal life to us from the start.

By the way, I haven't forgotten about our other discussion. I'll follow up in a day or so.

No concern. Thanks for the confirmation...I think? :)

I am here to quote Jesus, whom your fellow members ignore.
Have I quoted WT, Awakes, or posted the JW.Org site?

I was HOPING for an honest comparison.
How about YOU?
