That can be a very sly way of opposing orthodoxy. The Bible is against the Pharisees. Therefore, the Bible is against teachers of God's word. Therefore, we should not listen to anyone who teaches God's word. Non-sequitur argument. It doesn't follow.

A proper explanation of Jesus' opposition to religion would be his opposition to *corrupt* religion. Therefore, Jesus opposes false teachers, including those who criticize true religion and orthodox teaching.
