Jehovah Naham.
God my comfort
I do not find this name in the lists of names in the Bible
It is a name of God none the less.
The concept is there
Even if the name is not.
It is the name God has revealed to me.
When my Dad died
And I stood on the porch with Mark and Cheryl
And said, “I don’t know how non-Christians get through this”
Jehovah Naham held me.
When Mom was dyeing
And I heard her whisper “I love you”
Jehovah Naham was there with me.
When my wife died
Jehovah Naham pulled me into his lap,
And held me to his chest.
And comforted me.
When my grief at loosing Dad
Came crashing back
Jehovah Naham held the wheel of the car
And guided me safely to the Post Office
And gave me “Dear Dad.”
And comforted my heart.
Jehovah Naham
God my comfort
Comfort others as you continue to comfort me.
