Ask Jesus to forgive you and save you from your sins. That's it. Unlike Christianity, other religions, philosophies, self-help systems and other rubbish within the trash heap of human history, Jesus says: "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light Matthew 11:28-30."
It is unwise to view reading the Bible as a religious requirement and worse, to view Jesus as a religion. It is even more unwise to confuse Jesus with Christianity. It is very wise however, to read the Bible and, to read a chapter in the New Testament every morning. Jesus says, if we remain in his word, we will know the truth and the truth will make us free; and if he makes us free, we will be "free indeed" John 8:31-36.
NOTE: If you don't believe you are a sinner, try doing what you think is good all of the time and, see how well you do (see also, "SINNERS" below). If you think you are better than other people or most or some other people or, if you don't believe "all we like sheep have gone astray," check out this Video:

Just because you don't agree with someone's religious beliefs doesn't mean you should call it "rubbish within the trash heap of human history".
That video, on the other hand...

Paul refers to it as "dung" as translated in KJV. Or would prefer the common vulgar term that begins with bull....

No, he doesn't -- that's not the context of Philippians 3:8.

I am sooooooo weary of this type of “biblical interpretation.”
When I finally retire for good, I’m going to start a band called “Her Man and the Gnu Ticks” and all the songs will based on some Scripture taken out of context and asserted as truth.

There is no Christianity as a religion in the New Testament. True religion that is acceptable to God is defined in James 1:27.

Of course Christianity "as a religion" is in the NT.
It's annoying when people say "My religion isn't really a religion, only other religions are religions. My religion is something else entirely".
Yeah ok.
