Anybody else notice that profanity is being gradually introduced into commercials? Ryan Reynolds used the f-word repeatedly in a recent Mint mobile ad, and while the word itself is bleeped out, and his mouth blurred as he spoke, the explicit verbiage is made clear. Again, in a Ladder commercial, a woman, frustrated at being inconvenienced in the gym, uses the f-word, clearly mouthing it, without any blurring of the mouth being used.
While FCC regulations presently hold sway, I suspect it will be just a matter of time before advertisers are allowed to dispense with bleeping altogether. We're far removed from the days when Clark Gable shocked viewers of Gone With the Wind by his use of the word "damn." Scripture tells us that in the last days, people will grow progressively worse, and the proliferation of profanity and nudity we're seeing in both television and film is evidence of that.

I advise you avoid Europe

I’m not shocked when sinners sin.
Any more, I’m not surprised when Christians demonstrate their lack of personal piety and general lack of education and communication skills in public.

We can't control what other people do. All that is in our power to do is to set a better example with our own behavior.

We certainly have no control over any proliferation of immorality. My intent was to point out the accuracy of a passage that predicted that proliferation.

What one can expect when such filthy language is standardised by the President and Vice President of the United States.

Let’s ask LBJ or Andrew Jackson
Vulgarity in the White House isn’t new

Vulgar language is frequently used by many members of Congress on both sides of the aisle. When I was growing up, such language was used behind closed doors but hearing it aired in public was unheard of. Again, this development corroborates my point about things getting progressively worse.
