Ever wonder why the natives in the King Kong movies built a fence big enough to keep Kong out, yet added a gate big enough for him to come through?
In "The Wizard of Oz," the wicked witch melted into a pile of witch gunk when she was doused with water. She must have been as foul-smelling as she was mean, since she obviously had never taken a bath.
In The Shawshank Redemption," after crawling through the hole he had dug in his cell, how did Andy hang the poster back over the outside of the hole?
Why did Cinderella's glass slipper stay the same when the dress, carriage, horses and everything else returned to what they were originally made of? BTW, is footwear made of glass really a good idea?
Where do we to begin with "Gilligan's Island?" Why did the Howells bring wardrobes of clothes for a 3-hour cruise, and doesn't Mr. Howell bringing along a chest full of cash seem a little suspicious? And if the professor is smart enough to whip up a makeshift battery for the radio, why couldn't he figure out to mend a two foot hole in the boat so they could escape? While we're here, how many times could Gilligan actually spoil a rescue before the others beat him into a coma?
Feel free to add your own.

In the "Toy Story" movies, Buzz Lightyear freezes like rest of the toys when humans approach, despite professing to be a real-life space ranger, not a toy.

In "The Ghost and the Darkness," Val Kilmer's character narrowly escapes death when his rifle jams while taking aim at an approaching lion. Michael Douglas' character tells him, "they have a saying in boxing that everybody has a plan until they get hit. You just got hit, my friend." The problem? The events depicted in the movie took place in 1898, while the boxing quote was by Mike Tyson in 2012.

You are correct, sir. 2012 was the year Tyson responded to a question by a sports reporter regarding the 1987 quote. :)

In season 1 of the series Prison Break the fate of the gun allegedly used by Lincoln Burrows in the murder he may or may not have committed is unclear. One comment refers to his prints being found on the gun but in a meeting with lawyers he says he dumped the gun, and one of them notes the murder weapon was never found.
I didn't notice these myself, but apparently in the movie Titanic some of the pipework shown in the movie was cast using a method not invented at the time the Titanic sailed, and also apparently during the scenes when everyone is in the ocean the lights of a commercial airliner pass overhead. Oops.

In the Karate Kid, Daniel wins the tournament with a kick to the face of his opponent--a strike the referee lists as not permissible. (Apparently, the Director overrode that ruling).

Daniel was actually the villain of those movies

How is it that Mike Brady, a supposedly smart architect, chooses a house with two bedrooms and one bathroom for 6 kids?

In the Wizard of Oz, why didn't Glenda the good witch tell Dorothy the ruby slippers she stuck her with had the power to take her home? Would have saved her a lot of time and trouble.

In the movie, "Armageddon," would it not have been quicker and easier to train astronauts to do the required drilling than to train drillers to become astronauts?
