It should be apparent by Jesus' words- but Churchianity quickly changed them!

Yawn
How’s your Greek?
Maybe you should start with the text…
-
You mean you have to twist the Greek to get you Triune God in there?
-
No
You have to twist it to keep Jesus from being God
-
Are you familiar with the REST of the book of John?
-
Obviously not.
I only read the parts that support my views.
Nothing in the rest of John contradicts the prologue.

I'm going to ask that you start posting more substantial content or I'm going to ask you to leave in light of your seemingly being here solely to push an agenda.

He doesn't even need Greek. If we assumed a Trinitarian understanding of the Godhead for the sake of argument, then God saying to God "You, the only true God" is not problematic.
But I mean, he dodged the Greek question so I can only imagine he's continuing on his previous work as puker of asinine JW captions.

It's a simpler question to answer if you don't have the NT. Deuteronomy 6:4.

Yet even with the doctrine of the Trinity Christians are monotheists!

Yet even with the doctrine of the Trinity Christians are monotheists!
Yes, I suppose that this is true. Still, in a comparative way less strictly monotheistic than Judaism or Islam.
-
"Yet even with the doctrine of the Trinity Christians are monotheists!"
Nope. 3 Are God, or 1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3, heh!
It's a contradiction of terms.

Math facts tell me: 1x1x1=1
-
What about 1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1=1
-
Does the Watchtower anoint y'all with oil and send you into the interwebs field to supply facts at regular intervals or on a more random basis?

No. The Trinity does...
-
Thanks for capitalizing Trinity

Let's not bump dead threads.
@FactsPlease, if you're pushing JW doctrine I invite you to do so elsewhere. I'm really not in the mood to put up with someone who is going to have a go at the doctrine of the Trinity and (1) either doesn't understand the doctrine, or (2) is misrepresenting their understanding to play annoying little games.
