Waiting in the lobby for my 3rd doctor appointment of the day. I had a telephone appointment with my Primary Care provider's office this morning. Followed by a dental appointment (a fitting for my new dentures. Next appointment I get them.) And now I'm waiting to see my new GI doctor. The first and last of these were prompted by a trip to the emergency room on Monday. Nothing too serious, but uncomfortable. I got something stuck in my throat. It was below the windpipe. So I could breathe. I just couldn't swallow. I suspect I'll have to have another EGD (esophageal gastric dilation.) If I do it will be my 11th, though the last one was in 2019. Still, a pain in the neck, literally.
Ugh........

Like all those people who protested a music competition (Eurovision) to protest a war started by the massacre of a music festival. It is so absurd. This is how the "Never again" starts turning into "Okay maybe one more time".
That then turns into "Okay, maybe one more time if I get to watch" which turns into "Okay, maybe one more time if get to do the deed." Mankind itself is the greatest proof of Satan.

Just what we needed: to be drug through yet another salacious sex trial which is not a sex trial (of course).
As a trial lawyer, I can tell you. This judge has made the appeal both easy and hard. Easy because the irrelevance, immateriality, and prejudicial nature of the testimony and the foolish bootstrapping legal theory are something a first year law student would destroy. Hard because there is so much error from which to choose.

Yes. We aren't supposed to take vengeance. I don't have a problem with asking God to do it. Jesus goes one step further - Matt chapter 5 Yes yes this is all very interesting. "Turn the other cheek" isn't a Jesus invention, it's in the book of Lamentations. But I still don't have a problem with someone asking God to take vengeance. The guy whose wife and daughters were murdered by terrorists should not be expected to forgive and pray for those terrorists. That is a moral abomination. And no, it is not comprehensible from a human perspective, only from the perspective of the divine and the price paid to satisfy the wrath of God.

They don't want a better candidate i.e. a true statesman.
They want a political power that will get them their stuff at the expense of other American's stuff.
So a "good candidate" cannot be elected, as the philosophical, societal, and economic desires are too disparate.
